The privacy of our residents is very important to us. We want you to fully understand what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it will be used. Please read this privacy policy for more information about how your information will be used and protected.

Overview

To address the stability and reliability needs of the GrandMarc Seven Corners network and Internet connection, the GrandMarc has requested that OneNet USA implement a Student Internet Registration System (SIRS). The SIRS system is being implemented to:

• Allow the GrandMarc or their agents to quickly locate PC’s that are causing the network to operate improperly, or rendering the Internet connection unusable to the other residents.

• Facilitate contact with the owner before that PC’s network connection is temporarily suspended.

Information We Collect

To maintain maximum privacy for the residents, the GrandMarc and their agents will collect only the minimum information needed. This information is:

• Name – The students first and last name

• Room Number – The number of the room where their PC is located

• Telephone Number – Whatever number the student would like to be contacted on in case of an issue with their PC.

• Email Address – The email address that the student would like us to use if we should need to send a non-emergency notification.

Our Use of Your Information

The information collected will only be used to contact the students about information or events that directly relate to the GrandMarc network, or residency at the GrandMarc Seven Corners. The intended use of this information will be as follows:

1. If a problem should occur with a particular computer on the network, the resident information database will be checked to match that computer with an owner and a room number, and the owner will be contacted via telephone.


2. If we are unable to contact the owner, the connection will be disconnected. The user of the computer that has been disconnected will need to contact us, and we will work together to resolve the problem, so that the computer can be reconnected to the network.


3. The GrandMarc or OneNet USA will use the resident’s email address to provide notification of events, such as upcoming network outages due to scheduled maintainance.

Our Disclosure of Your Information

Information collected through SIRS will be the property of GrandMarc Seven Corners, and will be used exclusively by the GrandMarc, and the agents commissioned by them to manage the network. None of the information collected by OneNet USA through SIRS will be sold or given to anyone other than the GrandMarc and their agents. We are strictly opposed to spam and junk e-mail.
